Griffin Legal has announced that it has established a new office located on Bourke Street in Melbourne CBD.

In a statement announcing the new office, the law firm said it had serviced national clients from Canberra since it first began in 2009 and saw an opportunity to branch out into Victoria.

The new shopfront will be led by commercial law partner Carina Zeccola, who relocated from Canberra to Melbourne for the venture.

“We are looking forward to partnering with our existing clients more frequently, as well as demonstrating our expertise to those we have not worked with before,” Ms Zeccola said.

“We are excited to connect at a local level with Melbourne businesses, community organisations, national bodies, sporting organisations and government agencies.”

According to the firm, Griffin Legal aims to offer clients “proven efficiencies”, with values centred on timeliness, cost, communication and quality.

Managing partner Claire Carton, who was a finalist in the 2017 Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards, said the new office was currently recruiting for legal professionals.

“We are always looking for excellent and ambitious lawyers to join our team and assist in our mission to deliver practical, quality and reliable legal services,” Ms Carton said.
