The firm announced that Keiran Breckenridge has joined as special counsel in the corporate recovery and dispute resolution practice.

Mr Breckenridge brings 20 years’ experience to his new role, having worked at a number of national, Sydney-based and regional firms throughout his career.

McInnes Wilson Sydney principal John Renshaw said he was delighted to welcome Mr Breckenridge to the firm.

“I have known Keiran for a long time. He is an exceptional person and outstanding practitioner,” Mr Renshaw said.

“Clients think he is great because he listens to them, thinks about the key issues and delivers great outcomes. Keiran, in addition to traditional commercial client dispute areas, will also enhance our insurance recoveries practice, particularly in the area of trade credit.

“We are very excited about having Keiran on board.”

Commenting on what attracted him to McInnes Wilson, Mr Breckenridge said he likes the firm’s “practical vision and values”, noting that clients also appreciate this selling point.

“Clients need confident advice to give them peace of mind on complex and time-critical legal issues,” Mr Breckenridge said.

“I am impressed by the energy and ‘can-do’ approach at McInnes Wilson. We also share a common focus of delivering value to clients through timely, ethical and quality legal solutions.

“I’m excited to be joining the McInnes Wilson team.”
