Australian firm promotes 2 to associate
A firm with offices in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria has announced it has promoted two of its lawyers to associate.

Macpherson Kelley has welcomed the promotions of Richard Suthers (pictured left) and Katie Jacklin (pictured right).
Mr Suthers’ areas of expertise include asset protection, commercial contracts, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, property leasing and shareholders agreements.
He brings to his new associate role experience in advising a range of clients, including charities and private and public corporations, as well as high-net-worth individuals, investors and software and IT vendors.
Meanwhile, Ms Jacklin has been at Macpherson Kelley since December 2013. Before joining the firm, Ms Jacklin was a lawyer at Forbes Dowling Lawyers Pty Ltd, a lawyer for Bruce Petrie & Company Solicitors, and a lawyer for Harris Freidman Lawyers.
Throughout her legal career, Ms Jacklin has become an experienced workplace relations legal professional.
Her clientele includes business owners, human resources managers and safety managers in many diverse industries, such as manufacturing, real estate, construction and professional services.

Emma Musgrave
Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.
Emma has worked for Momentum Media since 2015, including five years spent as the editor of the company's legal brand - Lawyers Weekly. Throughout her time at Momentum, she has been responsible for breaking some of the biggest stories in corporate Australia. In addition, she has produced exclusive multimedia and event content related to the company's respective brands and audiences.
Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.
She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
