Trent Johnson (pictured) has come on board as director in the personal injury division at Bennett & Philp Lawyers.

Mr Johnson brings over 14 years’ experience in personal injury claims to his new role, as well as a background in nursing, which the firm said will bring a “unique insight in understanding the stresses associated with a personal injuries claim”.

Mr Johnson has particular knowledge in the areas of motor vehicle accidents, work-related injuries, institutional abuse, mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases, late-onset illness claims, public liability, and social justice claims.

Mr Johnson commenced his new role after most recently being employed as a senior associate at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers.

Throughout his career, Mr Johnson has practised primarily in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast.

On top of his regular work, he frequently volunteers his legal services at the Suncoast Community Legal Service and the Moreton Bay Regional Community Legal Service.
