National firm takes three from TressCox
A new partner, special counsel and senior associate have been welcomed to a national firm, all three poached from TressCox Lawyers.

Moray & Agnew has welcomed partner Nick Duggal, special counsel Sheridan Landwehr and senior associate Elizabeth Aitken to its Melbourne office.
Mr Duggal has appeared regularly in Fair Work Australia and the VCAT and has been involved in proceedings in all common law courts.
“Putting to one side the rapid growth of the Melbourne office, one of the fastest-growing firms in Victoria for a number of years, what also attracted us is the collegiate, informal, professional culture,” Mr Duggal said.
“The firm is progressive, dynamic and committed to workplace law – a great environment to service our clients.”
Ms Landwehr has 13 years’ experience advising on a broad range of workplace relations, workers’ compensation and occupational health and safety issues.
Meanwhile, Ms Aitken brings to her new role five years’ experience, and was named Young Gun of the Year at Lawyers Weekly’s Women in Law Awards last year.
Together, Mr Duggal, Ms Landwehr and Ms Aitken will advise employers across health, education, IT, pharmaceuticals, construction, contractor management and professional services.
“Morays is an insurance [law] firm in a sustained growth phase, actively seeking and adding commercial services to our offering, as opposed to a commercial firm jettisoning insurance services – and we are able to get the model right for the two streams to happily co-exist and thrive,” said Bill Papastergiadis, Melbourne managing partner.
“Nick and his team joining the Melbourne office is another great example of this.”
These latest appointments complement the recent addition of Dev Pillay to the national workplace team in the firm’s Brisbane office.
Chairman and managing partner Michael Pitt said the team will greatly bolster the firm’s core service offering.
“The addition of Nick and his team in Melbourne, together with Dev Pillay in Brisbane, represents a significant expansion to our client offering in the workplace practice area and is in response to the increasing client demand flowing from our core practice areas,” he said.
