Firm appoints new national partner
A firm has bolstered its commercial and property practice by welcoming a new national partner.

Steven Morris (pictured) has been appointed as national commercial/property partner at Smith Leonard Fahey Lawyers.
Mr Morris will be based in Smith Leonard Fahey Lawyers’ Brisbane office and will frequently attend the firm’s Sydney, Melbourne and Perth offices with the aim of growing the firm’s commercial and property practice throughout Australia.
A big goal will be bolstering his existing team nationally over the next 12 months.
Smith Leonard Fahey Lawyers acts for a range of property developers, businesses and SMEs.
The commercial and property practice’s main work includes business sales and purchases, acting for franchisees on new and purchased franchises, commercial, industry and retail shop leasing for landlords and tenants, and the establishment of charitable foundations.
The practice also specialises in residential disputes and advice, company and trust set-up, shareholders agreements, unitholder agreements, director disputes and work-out arrangements, and commercial and residential property sales and purchases.

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.
Emma has worked for Momentum Media since 2015, including five years spent as the editor of the company's legal brand - Lawyers Weekly. Throughout her time at Momentum, she has been responsible for breaking some of the biggest stories in corporate Australia. In addition, she has produced exclusive multimedia and event content related to the company's respective brands and audiences.
Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.
She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
