After 10 years at Maddocks, Mr Neal (pictured) has joined Colin Bigger & Paisley as a partner in the firm’s planning and environment team.

Mr Neal has more than 15 years’ experience, specialising in planning, local government and environmental law. He advises both public and private sector clients as well as state-owned corporations.

His experience extends to the planning and environment issues associated with major projects, the masterplanning and upzoning of greenfield and in-fill development sites, Voluntary Planning Agreements, and land access issues for development, including native title and Aboriginal land rights.

Mr Neal also has experience in resumption, compensation and valuation matters.

“It’s an exciting time for our legal practice as it continues to grow at such a rapid pace,” Colin Biggers & Paisley’s managing partner Dunstan de Souza said.

“Todd is an exceptional planning and environment lawyer and has a reputation as a leading adviser to both government and private clients.”

Colin Biggers & Paisley recently appointed partners David Giacomantonio from Lander & Rogers, Catherine Bell from Cornwall Stodart and Stephen Thompson from K&L Gates.
