CIO leaves Sparke Helmore
A former chief information officer for Sparke Helmore has left the position to take up a new role with another national firm.

Hall & Wilcox has announced Peter Campbell will join its Sydney office as director – client solutions. The role will see him head up the newly created client solutions team.
Mr Campbell’s new role will see him responsible for driving components of the firm’s ‘smarter law’ strategy and leading various innovation initiatives, including the development of client-facing technology, improved project management methodology, and developing the firm’s knowledge management strategy.
Tony Macvean, managing partner of Hall & Wilcox, said Mr Campbell’s appointment comes as the firm looks to take its technology strategy and innovation focus to the next level.
“Innovation is something we have always tried to embrace throughout the firm,” he said.
“Having Peter head the co-creation of technology solutions for clients will enable us to continue delivering smarter law and better ways of doing things for clients.
“Peter will have an important leadership role within Hall & Wilcox.”
Last month, Hall & Wilcox announced the appointment of superannuation specialist Anne MacNamara as partner in its financial services practice.
In June, the firm appointed Stephen Klotz to its commercial dispute resolution team.
Meanwhile, Hall & Wilcox welcomed Matthew Needham as the head of the firm’s new Canberra-based office earlier this year.
