Brisbane employment lawyer swaps firms
Sara McRostie has left MinterEllison to join the partnership of a national firm in Brisbane.

Employment and industrial relations lawyer Ms McRostie (pictured) has joined the Sparke Helmore workplace group in Brisbane after working for MinterEllison for almost a decade.
Over the course of her career, the Sparke Helmore partner has worked with government agencies and corporate clients across a number of industries, including health and aged care, insurance, mining, construction, media and professional services.
Welcoming Ms McRostie’s appointment, Catherine Wilkinson, Sparke Helmore workplace national practice group leader, said: "Sara's specialist expertise in front and back-end matters and strong client relationships brings a wealth of experience to our clients and will complement the workplace team in Brisbane and nationally."
In her new position, Ms McRostie will provide support to employers on day-to-day workplace issues including workplace investigations, managing long-term ill and injured employees, workplace restructuring, dismissals and employee entitlements.
She is currently named on the list of Rising Stars in Doyles Guide for employment and WHS.
