Former barrister joins William Roberts

A senior counsel with more than 30 years’ experience at the Bar has joined William Roberts Lawyers.

David Conti, a silk at the NSW Bar, has been appointed special counsel at the firm.

Mr Conti holds a Master of Laws and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He has advised and appeared on matters relating to corporations law, insolvency, contract disputes, banking and finance litigation, insurance, deceased estates, property disputes, intellectual property and a range of other areas.

He was appointed senior counsel at the Bar in 2003.

William Roberts Lawyers have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Singapore.

This latest hire marks the second special counsel appointment for the firm in recent times, after Bruce Cussen joined from Holman Webb in December.
