Senior M&A partner heads to Hong Kong
King & Wood Mallesons partner Neil Carabine is relocating to Hong Kong from the firm’s Melbourne office.

Mr Carabine (pictured) has significant expertise across the telecoms, transport infrastructure and energy sectors, specialising in M&A, regulatory and access regimes.
Hong Kong co-chief executive Hayden Finn suggested Mr Carabine would shore up the firm's regional strength.
"His breadth of experience in working with Multi-national corporations on their positioning and expansion across Asia, and close working relationship with the corporate teams within KWM provides him with the ability to help expand KWM Hong Kong’s offering to this client base as well as other corporate clients in the region," he said.
Mr Carabine’s relocation to Hong Kong follows the recent appointment of partner Gary Lock, a China securities expert who joined the firm’s Hong Kong practice earlier in the year, and most recently the promotion of Guo Sun Lee to partner, a specialist funds practitioner in the corporate team.
