HopgoodGanim nabs former A&O telecoms head
HopgoodGanim has hired a special counsel with experience in corporate and cross-border transactions.

Former head of the Asia Pacific telecommunications practice group in Allen & Overy’s Hong Kong office Peter Burge has joined HopgoodGanim’s corporate advisory and governance team in Queensland.
He has also previously taught commercial law at the Queensland University of Technology.
Burge first worked at HopgoodGanim as an articled clerk after graduating from law school, and said he is delighted to be back working alongside many of the lawyers who were his mentors and teachers early in his career.
Burge’s role at HopgoodGanim will include advising on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and IPOs, governance, private equity and joint ventures.
