Ben Ades has joined Thynne + Macartney as a lawyer in the firm’s estates team.

Mr Ades has four years' experience in estate planning, estate administration, and family provision applications and trust litigation, according to a statement from Thynne + Macartney.

Mr Ades also has broader experience in commercial law, including corporate and trust restructuring, general commercial litigation, commercial sales and acquisition, partnership and joint venture agreements, intellectual property and commercial and retail leasing.

Earlier this year, Thynne + Macartney attracted former Sparke Helmore partner Mark Winn and lawyer Dominique Mayo.

Meanwhile, an insurance partner and two senior associates left Cooper Grace Ward for Sparke Helmore in early February.
