Swaab grows corporate team
A former sole practitioner has joined Swaab as a partner for its corporate team.

Michael Phillips joins Swaab from his own niche corporate and transactional practice, Phillips Law, following 16 years as a partner within international law firms in London and Hong Kong.
Swaab managing partner Mary Digiglio said, “Michael’s experience is a perfect complement to the skills and expertise of our corporate department – this will be of great benefit to our clients.
“Michael’s knowledge of and experience with the Asian market will add more depth to the international services provided by our corporate group.”
Mr Phillips was referred to as a ‘leading individual’ in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 in the field of capital markets by The Asia Pacific Legal 500.
Swaab has recently attracted intellectual property partner Eric Ziehlke from boutique Chrysiliou IP.
Previously, Marc Baddams was named as a litigation partner.
