Boutique snags team of four from global
Two lawyers and two staff have left a global player to join Melbourne-based boutique Madgwicks.

Partner Rohan Ingleton (pictured) has moved from K&L Gates to Madgwicks with lawyer Tarah Bajonat, legal executive Lauren Milne and law clerk Katherine Milne in tow.
Peter Kennedy, managing partner at Madgwicks said, “This team hire demonstrates Madgwicks’ commitment to investing in our core legal service areas and, in turn, benefiting the needs of our clients for specialist expertise.
“We are delighted with the new appointments to our Property practice here in Melbourne. Rohan and his team are highly respected and experienced property practitioners who will add depth and breadth to our capabilities in this area,” he added.
Madgwicks Property Group's team now totals 14, including three partners, a special counsel, a senior associate, two lawyers and seven law clerks.
K&L Gates also recently lost partner Murray Deakin to PwC and corporate partner Jol Rogers to Gadens Melbourne, with Mr Rogers taking senior associates Zoe Bare and Melissa Phillips along with him.
Sparke Helmore appointed former K&L Gates partners Penny Stevens and Nicole Fauvrelle and senior associates Sam Jackson and Gina Carosi earlier this year.
