Mills Oakley has recruited three partners for its offices in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
Rechelle Brost (pictured) has joined Mills Oakley in Brisbane after six years as a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright. Ms Brost’s practice focuses on transactional construction work for ASX 200 companies in the construction, resources and transport sectors.
In Perth, the firm has hired former Borrello Legal principal Patrick Thaung, who has also held partner roles at DLA Piper and Lavan Legal.
Mr Thaung is experienced in the sale, acquisition and leasing of major shopping centres, industrial sites and office towers in Perth’s CBD. His areas of specialisation include property development, business acquisitions, joint ventures and shareholder agreements.
Mills Oakley’s third partner appointment comes from Gilbert + Tobin.
Former G+T special counsel Luke Westmore brings senior capabilities in energy and infrastructure to the mid-tier’s Melbourne office.
Before joining G+T Mr Westmore was a special counsel at DLA Piper. He has also held a general counsel role with a renewable energy developer.
These hires follow the recruitment of Sydney-based property partner Tim L’Orange, who joined the firm from DLA Piper last month.
