MALLESONS STEPHEN JAQUES topped a recent poll of Asia Pacific legal advisers to infrastructure for the first half of 2006, with 27.31 per cent of the market share at $3,368.19 million.

 
 

In second place was Clayton Utz at 22.67 per cent (or $2,794.86 million), followed by Freehills at 11.69 per cent (or $1,440.99 million) in third.

Further down the list, Baker & McKenzie (9.61 per cent or $1,184.49 million) came equal fourth with Shearman & Sterling. Tied at sixth place were Clifford Chance and Johnson Stokes & Master (7.72 per cent or $952.170 million); Latham & Watkins at eighth (1.58 per cent or $194.342 million) and Makarims, Blake Dawson Waldron and Milbank Tweed at equal ninth (0.70 per cent or $86.5206 million).

The global rankings translated to Clifford Chance (1st), Latham & Watkins (8th), Shearman & Sterling (11th), Milbank Tweed (14th), Baker & McKenzie (15th), Mallesons Stephen Jaques (20th), Clayton Utz (23rd), Freehills (27th), Johnson Stokes & Master (42nd), and Makarims and Blake Dawson Waldron (equal 94th).
