The Queensland Law Students Career Fair will be attracting more attention than usual this year, with several of the national firms bumping up their recruitment intake of Brisbane graduates, and smaller and non-legal firms competing for the students’ attention.
Last year the Fair had 717 student attendees, and the student associations hope to significantly outdo that figure this year. “We have been putting a lot of effort into marketing this year,” said Cameron Green, vice president (education and activities) of Queensland University of Technology Association of Law Students, and one of the organisers.
