SLATER & Gordon opened three new offices this week, bringing its total office count to 34 after a merger with a smaller law firm.

The law firm, which specialises in class actions, personal injury, asbestos and labour law, opened its offices in Albury/ Wodonga, Dubbo and Gilgandra after a merger with Adams Leyland.

The merger closely follows the firm’s acquisition of Stewart & Noble Lawyers in Wangaratta last month.

Adams Leyland director Don Cameron said of the merger: “Adams Leyland has always been committed to the Australian concept of a fair go and helping people get access to justice. We have prided ourselves on offering no-nonsense and accurate advice and that’s going to continue with Slater & Gordon.”

Cameron said the firm’s client will be better serviced by having the support of a national law firm and its resources and expertise.

Slater & Gordon managing director Andrew Grech has welcomed the 34 Adams Leyland staff members to the national firm.
