How many lawyers does it take?

A large law associate recently divulged that, on being on a call with a client, a partner requested they not say a word.

It was not out of a fear the associate would say something stupid, but because the partner did not want the client to think about how many lawyers were working on their case.

 
 

Above the law reports on the problem of clients getting their bills, and taking note of how many lawyers were billing for their time. The US-based legal site reports that with clients tightening their belts, clients can get annoyed when they have a whole football team of lawyers to pay.

On such case involved a family in Massachusetts, which objected to the number of lawyers K&L Gates players on their team when the bill nearly matched the probate estate in question.
