A FORMER Queensland solicitor has been sentenced to two years in jail, wholly suspended, over his role in a solicitors’ mortgage investment scheme.
He was sentenced to two years’ jail on each charge to be served concurrently. The charges were brought by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
Triscott was struck off as a solicitor of the Supreme Court in March 2002 by the Queensland Law Society.
