MALE LAWYERS and law students are now being invited to join the Women Lawyers’ Association of New South Wales for the first time since the organisation began in 1952.
The first 10 men to join will received a complimentary ticket to the Gala Awards Dinner on 19 October to be held at the Sydney Hilton and will be acknowledged in the association’s historical records.
Male associate members will not have voting rights or be entitled to stand on committees but will receive discounted rates to association events.
“This is exciting new category is a way for men to acknowledge their support of our organisation and its objectives,” said association president, Lee-May Saw.
The new corporate membership category will enable organisations to make considerable membership savings.
