Queensland-based firm Carter Newell Lawyers has added insurance lawyer Stephen White to its partnership.

Joining the firm in 2007, White has significant experience in the areas of public liability, product liability and property damage. He has also provided support to the firm in the provision of risk management advice, the drafting and construction of new policy products and the legal issues affecting those client business initiatives.

Carter Newell has also promoted Eva Chong to the position of associate in the firm's professional liability team.

Chong's experience in insurance-related matters includes professional indemnity claims ranging from injury liability to misrepresentation.
