In the lead up to this month's state election, NSW political parties have responded to calls from the NSW Law Society to make a commitment to justice and fairness.
The Liberals and Nationals have also made a commitment to undertake a comprehensive and consultative review of the Bail Act, while the Greens NSW have reaffirmed their commitment to a Bill of Rights for NSW.
"The Law Society hopes that our policy platform and the responses to it will facilitate constructive debate on law and justice issues in the lead-up to the election and beyond," said Law Society president Stuart Westgarth.
