Corrs Chambers Westgarth and the established six top-tier firms will vie for the title of Australia's best commercial law firm in an international awards ceremony.

The 2011 Chambers Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence shortlist for the best Australian firm includes Corrs, Allens Arthur Robinson, Blake Dawson, Clayton Utz, Freehills, Mallesons Stephen Jaques and Minter Ellison.

Allens was also shortlisted as the best Vietnamese firm.

The awards ceremony will take place in Kyoto, Japan, on 20 April.
