EBSWORTH & EBSWORTH has expanded its construction practices in Sydney and Brisbane through the appointment of two partners and a team of lawyers.

New partner Sonya Kroon and her team have joined Ebsworth & Ebsworth’s Sydney construction team. Kroon’s practice is spilt equally between front-end and back-end work. Her expertise includes advising on risk assessment for major projects, advising on effective contract administration, notices and claims, reviewing suites of commercial documentation such as major and minor works contracts, supply agreements and plant hire agreements, and troubleshooting throughout the course of projects. She is also an accredited specialist in commercial dispute resolution.

Based in the firm’s Brisbane office, property and construction lawyer Karyn Reardon has been promoted to partner. Reardon specialises in building and construction and dispute resolution and litigation. She has more than 15 years’ experience representing a broad range of parties including contractors, superintendents, consultants, suppliers, governments and financiers in mediations, adjudications and litigations.
