Mallesons Stephen Jaques has been named Australian Firm of the Year at the Managing IP Global Australian Intellectual Property Awards.

The firm took the title from four other short-listed firms, including Allens Arthur Robinson, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Davies Collison Cave and Gilbert + Tobin.

"This is a highly coveted award in the IP sector, both within Australia and overseas and Mallesons is honoured to be recognised for our strategic advice in this area," said IP partner, Wayne McMaster.

The team provides IP advisory and litigation expertise across patent, trade mark, copyright and IP commercial law, with 14 partners serving a diverse corporate client base.

Partner Adrienne Showering from the firm's London office accepted the award on behalf of the team.
