Middletons has taken out the BRW ANZ Private Business Award for "overall private business of the year" at a ceremony overnight.

Middletons national managing partner Nick Nichola accepted the award noting that it "recognises the hard work of all our dedicated staff and is a proud moment for our firm".

He added that the firm is deeply committed to its "straight talking" statement that underpins the Middletons brand. "Put simply, it means we employ a down to earth approach ... The last thing our clients want is unintelligible legal speak," he said.
