Clayton Utz has launched a new product allowing clients to view continuing legal education (CLE) presentations online.

Titled CU CLE TV, the legal teams of client corporations will have access to the online CLE presentations from anywhere in the world at anytime.

"The program makes obtaining mandatory CLE points easy, while at the same time providing our clients' lawyers with access to cutting edge presentations on topical legal issues," Clayton Utz chief operating officer Stuart Clark said.

Clark added that the Clayton Utz presentations are eligible for CLE points as per the guidelines provided by the law society in each state.

"At the end of the program, viewers can print out a certificate of participation, which might sound corny, but it is an important point," Clark added. "For instance, the Law Society of NSW is currently doing random audits to ensure CLE compliance, with in-house legal teams that view our programs being able to show that certificate to auditors or show that they have viewed our presentations."

Senior partners at Clayton Utz will be used in the presentations over a range of topics and practice areas, including OHS, ethics and corporate and regulatory issues.
