HWL Ebsworth Lawyers was awarded Insurance Law Firm of the Year by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance at the annual Industry Awards Gala Dinner on 12 August.

Judged by a panel of 13 industry leaders, the firm was recognised for its outstanding legal service, innovations, secondment programs, active participation in industry bodies, submissions to government and continual commitment to research and development.

It was acknowledged that the firm has "grown up with the industry" and adapted to the changing times and demands of the industry.

"We are honoured to receive this award and see it as industry recognition of our ongoing level of commitment, expertise and service within the insurance market," said managing partner Juan Martinez.
