Magic circle firm Allen & Overy have today (6 July) announced the appointment of former Allens Arthur Robinson partner Angus Jones to its energy and resources group in Perth.

Jones will help to strengthen A&O's growing Perth office, bringing more than 20 years of experience with a particular focus on LNG; upstream oil and gas transactions/acquisitions; gas sales and gas pipeline arrangements; and renewable energy and mining projects.

Commenting on Jones' appointment, A&O Australia's managing partner Grant Fuzi said: "Angus' expertise fits well with our plan to continue strengthening our position in the energy and natural resources sector in Australia. These sectors are a priority area for the firm internationally."
