Achievements within the Victorian legal community - including the Bushfire Legal Help initiative - have been honoured today at the Law Institute of Victoria Legal Awards in Melbourne.
The ceremony saw the Bushfire Legal Help initiative recognised, following the work of 580 legal practitioners who volunteered their time to assist victims of the Black Saturday fires, while Tony Macvean, the managing partner of Hall & Wilcox took out the coveted managing partner of the year award, for his work in orchestrating the recent success and growth at the firm.
