Henry Davis York has come away with two accolades from the recent ACCA Australia and New Zealand Sustainability Reporting Awards.

The firm took out both the "Best First-time Reporter" and "Best Report in the Professional Services Sector" awards at a ceremony held recently at the Westin Hotel in Sydney.

The awards, hosted by international professional accounting body ACCA and presented globally, recognise excellence in environmental, social and sustainability financial reporting. Criteria include organisations' transparency in reporting and their communication of corporate performance with stakeholders. This year's entrants included more than half the ASX50.

Superannuation fund VicSuper took out the overall "Best Sustainability Report" as well as the "Best SME Report" and "Best Report in the Financial Services Sector". Other winners - taking out the awards for their industry sectors - included Watercare Services, Origin Energy, Toyota Motor Corporation, BHP Billiton, Stockland, Woolworths, Telstra and Transurban Group.
