New ADR judge appointed to Supreme Court in Victoria
Barrister Jennifer Davies SC has been appointed as a Supreme Court of Victoria judge. Victorian Attorney-General Rob Hulls said the appointment delivered on the Brumby Government's commitment
Barrister Jennifer Davies SC has been appointed as a Supreme Court of Victoria judge.
"I congratulate Ms Davies on her appointment and I am confident that she will make a significant contribution to Victoria's justice system in the years ahead," Hulls said.
Davies has more than 22 years experience as a barrister and has appeared in a number of high-profile commercial, administrative and taxation law cases. She was appointed a senior counsel in 2004.
Davies was admitted to practice in 1980, and commenced her legal career as a solicitor at Paveys (now Corrs Chambers Westgarth), working in commercial law and litigation before relocating to Hong Kong to work as a trademark specialist at Deacons.
