AirTree makes NZ$35m investment in Hnry
APAC-based venture capital firm AirTree has been advised on its Series B investment in New Zealand fintech firm Hnry.

Deal significance: Speaking about the raise, Ms Toomey said: “It is always a pleasure to work with the AirTree team, particularly on this significant investment into Hnry.
“We look forward to continuing to work with AirTree as they confidently back NZ tech founders.”
AirTree partner Jackie Vullinghs added: “We first encountered Hnry in 2019 when we were looking at fintech for small businesses.
“We’ve seen the business grow rapidly in that time. We’re delighted to support Hnry in its commitment to make life easier for sole traders throughout both New Zealand and Australia.”
