Ms Rahimi joined Hive in 2015 and has played an important role in a number of significant capital markets and merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions at the firm. She now focuses on energy law, building her experience in electricity, gas and energy retail and renewable energy, where she has provided assistance to a number of majority players in the Australian energy sector.

“She has shown adaptability and a diligent commitment to building and broadening her skills,” Hive said in a statement, “she is an exceptional project manager.”

Ms Rahimi commented: “It is an exciting and interesting time to be practicing in energy law and I am grateful for the support of a highly skilled and experienced team.

“I love providing our clients price certainty as it enables us to really understand our client’s business and their ultimate goals without the fuss of time recording.”

She commented on her experience working at Hive: “It is very rewarding to be part of a firm that is truly flexible and values creativity.”

Melissa Lyon, executive director, commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to have Rohila joining our senior leadership group.

“She is a highly valued member of our team who positively contributes to our culture and the strategic direction of Hive.”

Mr Faelli focuses on M&A, commercial, privacy, energy and government workstreams, including leading a number of Hive GC+ arrangements and transactions with the firm’s key clients.

“His promotion is recognition that his capabilities and approach to his work far exceed his years of experience,” said Hive in a statement.

“His readiness to share his knowledge and mentor others is reflected in the fact that the Hivesters love working with him.”

Mr Faelli commented: “I am grateful to Hive for trusting me with this next step in my career, and for the continued support.

“It’s a special privilege to work in a genuinely progressive firm, made up of industry leaders who are not only great at what they do, but are fantastic people to work with.

“I look forward to continuing some exciting and impactful work across our corporate and energy practices and achieving great outcomes for our clients.”

Ms Lyon commented: “Adrian joined us at Hive because he saw a real alignment of his values and the way we work. That makes it even more satisfying for us to see Adrian progress in his career.”

Ms Karas works in privacy, government matters and more general commercial matters.

She joined Hive “as a result of her desire to work in an innovative and collaborative firm, and she enthusiastically takes every opportunity to develop and grow her skills”, Hive said in a statement, “she brings her forward thinking and broader skills to play a part in our innovation and business consulting team”.

“She makes valuable contributions to support our culture including coordinating our early career Hivesters group, Hive ‘wellbeeing’ committee and providing her creative flare to our social media profiling.”

Ms Karas commented: “I feel very blessed to be a Hivester. I am grateful for my mentors and peers who continuously raise me up to be the best lawyer and person I can be.

“I look forward to developing my career in the most purposeful way I can.”

Ms Lyon commented: “We love to give Hivesters the opportunity to develop a range of skills which helps them to thrive. Stephanie’s career path and the breadth of skills she is developing are a great example of this.”
