LiveTiles secures $10m funding round

LegalVision has advised a venture capital company on a $10 million funding round to help LiveTiles develop new products and continue to grow.

Deal: LegalVision has advised OneVentures on its $10 million funding round in software company LiveTiles. The funding will help LiveTiles grow its business and develop products in new markets.

Value: $10 million.

Area: Corporate.

Key players: The LegalVision team was led by practice leader Jill McKnight, who was assisted by Sian McLachlan.

Deal significance: LiveTiles, a publicly listed company, specialises in developing artificial intelligence and machine learning-powered workplace software. The company has partnered with large corporations, including Nestle and Microsoft, to roll out its cloud-based employee experience platform.

Ms McKnight commented: “It’s a pleasure working with the OneVentures team again to deliver this funding to another fast-growing Australian innovative startup.

“LiveTiles is transforming the future of workplaces and employee wellness, and it’s great to see OneVentures join their growth journey.”

OneVentures partner Nick Gainsley commented: “LiveTiles is a leader in the employee experience space. This funding will undoubtedly supercharge their growth as more employees look to work remotely and remain connected.

“LegalVision’s team was excellent in assisting us on the credit facility to LiveTiles. They were professional, experienced and pragmatic, enabling a seamless transaction.”
