The Protégé Podcast launches for young lawyers
Lawyers Weekly is thrilled to announce that it is about to launch a podcast for students, graduates and aspiring young lawyers on Monday, 9 November.

Lawyers Weekly’s editorial team is really excited to introduce The Protégé Podcast for young and aspiring lawyers. Each fortnight, we dive into everything related to studying, graduating and making it in the profession with host Naomi Neilson (yours truly).
The first episode will be released at 11.30am on Monday, 9 November, featuring past president Margaret Cai and the new president Nicholas Tsekouras from the Australian Law Students Association (ALSA) as we talk through new initiatives to tackle negative behaviour in the profession, what 2020 has meant for ALSA and its plans for 2021.
Our second episode will welcome fifth-year law student Nonye Duru, founder of African Legal Connect Australia, to discuss the lack of diversity in the profession and how she started her own organisation to address the issue. We then have episodes featuring a professor of ethics, our Law Student of the Year 2020 and a BigLaw graduate.
If you have any questions about the podcast, any topics you might want us to look into or want to join me on an episode, please reach out – we would love to hear from you!
