A TRIPLICATE changing of the guard at law societies across Australia has taken place almost simultaneously.
Further west, David Howard, a commercial barrister from Adelaide, took the reins of the South Australian Law Society earlier this week, virtually in sync with Ian Weldon’s appointment as president of the Western Australian guild. The latter, however, will not officially take over from incumbent head Elizabeth Heenan until 1 January 2004.
