Several law firms saw the bristles and whiskers of young lawyers emerge for the annual Movember charity event this November.

The young chaps at Swaab Attorneys raised $4,240 towards research and awareness of men's health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.

Pictured, from left, Swaab lawyers Alistair Jaque (Corporate), Matthew Hall (IP), Greg Parker (Family Law), Jason Hadassin (Corporate), Cameron Stewart (IP) and James Promnitz (IT support).

Meanwhile, at Allens Arthur Robinson, young guns staged 'Operation MOverlord', a World War Two-themed campaign from the firm's Melbourne office, raising more than $30,000 for the charity, and making Allens one of the top six fundraisers for the annual event.

Allens Melbourne Practice Director Paul Quinn stated the secret to the firm's successful fundraising was careful planning in the early stages of the November.

"This was a covert fundraising campaign," Quinn admitted, "So secret that no one actually realised I was growing a moustache until about 28 days into the month.'
