MIDDLETONS LAWYERS is carving out a new niche in Sydney’s CBD, joining other law firms in the legal precinct of Martin Place.

Opening up its three newly refurbished levels of office space to 170 staff last week, Middletons managing partner Nick Nichola said that, though biased, he thinks the new space has come up nicely.

Previously, staff were separated in Sydney between 10 Shelley Street and over three levels at Macquarie Place.

Levels 24, 25 and 26 of the Colonial building, at 52 Martin Place, two weeks ago looked like a bomb site, Nichola said. Now totally refurbished, the offices are distinctive, but not over the top, said Nichola.

The partners wanted something “a little on the understated side”, but also unique and that “gives a feel about what Middletons is like”.

Middletons joins Abbott Tout, Freehills and Henry Davis York in Martin Place.
