Accounting firm bulks up its legal footprint with senior hires
Big four accounting firm PwC has added five partners to its legal arm in recent months, recruited from a number of leading firms.

In the past month, PwC Legal Services has hired three Melbourne-based partners: Ashley Poke from Baker & McKenzie, Tiffany Barton from Ashurst and Cameron Whittfield from Gilbert + Tobin.
The new hires take the PwC legal services team to 12 partners and more than 60 lawyers in Australia.
PwC legal services leader Tony O’Malley said there is a growing demand for integrated legal services.
"In today’s competitive legal market, clients see technical excellence as simply a 'ticket to ride'," he said.
"What sets us apart is our ability to seamlessly integrate legal services across a range of commercial disciplines and bring together strong client and industry insights."
Mr Poke, who has more than 20 years' experience, specialises in M&A, private equity and governance matters.
Ms Barton’s specialisation is private and public M&A, joint ventures and commercial contracts, while Mr Whittfield has expertise in digital, telecommunications, media and technology.
Mr Delesclefs is a private equity expert, having practised in both the UK and the US.
