Greg Smith (pictured), the former legal practice director at STE Safety & Legal, has been appointed as principal in the new Perth office.

Mr Smith has experience in workplace health and safety and has previously worked for Herbert Smith Freehills, Sparke Helmore and Woodside Energy.

Nexus Law Group founder Marcus McCarthy said that Western Australia was a “key market” for the firm.

“I am excited to be part of a firm that is reshaping the traditional legal landscape,” said Mr Smith.

Nexus Law Group operates on a dispersed law firm model and has offices in Newcastle and Sydney.
