More than 600 guests attended the black tie event at the Westin in Sydney, where the best and brightest of Australian lawyers were recognised for their hard work over the past year.

As a marathon 25 categories were announced, the three-course meal gave lawyers plenty to chew over while comedian Vince Sorrenti provided the laughs.

Freed from their drab suits and office-appropriate footwear, lawyers celebrated well into the wee hours – and our photographer was on hand to capture the action.
