Thomsons nabs Middletons banking team

Thomsons Lawyers has appointed Armando Scenna as a partner in the firm's banking and finance group in Melbourne.

Scenna joins Thomsons after being with Middletons for over 12 years and Corrs Chambers Westgarth for five.

He has relationships with a number of major banks and lenders in the financial services sector and brings a team of lawyers over to Thomsons.

Along with his extensive experience in corporate and commercial banking transactions, Scenna has a focus on particular industries including property, health, professional services, hospitality, automotive and trade.

His work has included advising in relation to syndicated and club facilities, managed investment schemes and class order syndicate funding arrangements, mezzanine funding and inter-creditor arrangements, as well as moratorium and workout arrangements.
