Corrs Chambers Westgarth has today announced (17 June) the appointment of 11 lawyers to its partnership as well as the promotion of five to special counsel, effective 1 July.

The firm's latest partnership promotions and its ten lateral partnership appointments since January this year represent a 17.6 per cent increase in the firm's partner headcount.

Those joining the firm's partnership are Anna Ross, Frances Wheelahan, Frances Williams, Helen Clarke, Janine Young, Jennifer DeJong, Paul Carrick, Sam Delaney, Sarah Leonard, Shaun Bailey and Steven Johns.

Andrew Young, Christiana McCudden, Heran Kim, Sarah Schnabel and Sophia Bobeff have been promoted to special counsel.
