Joanna Glynn has joined Corrs Chambers Westgarth as a partner in the firm's Brisbane office.

Joining Corrs from Freehills, where she was a partner and recently executive counsel, Glynn brings more than 17 years of experience in industrial relations and employment law.

Previously she worked for the Queensland Mining Council in a senior industrial relations role, as well as on significant disputes in the electricity and coalmining sectors, prominent test cases under the Fair Work Act and has devised industrial strategies for significant Queensland greenfield and brownfield projects.
