Cornwall Stodart has appointed tax specialist Gideon Meltzer as a partner in the firm's corporate and commercial team.

The former general counsel of Willmott Forests, Meltzer specialises in corporate and commercial law and taxation with over 18 years' experience.

Also joining the firm is David Moore as special counsel and head of the firm's intellectual property team.

Prior to joining Cornwall, Moore spent five years at Clyde & Co's Dubai office where he led the firm's trademarks practice.
