Brisbane firm Barry.Nilsson Lawyers has begun 2011 with the promotion of four lawyers to the level of senior associate, including Mary Schroeder, Lisa Hulcombe, Nathan Rehbock and Sally Cooper.

A member of the firm's insurance and health team, Schroeder's work involves advising local government on public liability, professional liability and contractual claims.

Rehbock practices in public liability and property damage claims, specialising in defending claims made against sporting associations, gymnasiums, licensed premises and local authorities.

Cooper has practiced in family law for approximately six years, developing a specialisation in same-sex relationships on matters of property and parenting.

Hulcombe's expertise lies in claims involving local authorities, the owners and occupiers of residential and commercial premises, property developers and construction companies.
