Brisbane-based Cooper Grace Ward Lawyers has added to its property, planning and environment credentials with the appointment of Tarnya Fitzgibbon from McCullough Robertson Lawyers.

A specialist planning and environment partner, Fitzgibbon will lead the firm's planning and environment team, bringing experience in the property, resources, agribusiness, infrastructure and public sectors.

In addition to Planning and Environment Court appeals and declarations, Fitzgibbon has assisted with approval processes for major projects and has defended directors and companies that have been prosecuted for environmental offences.

The firm has also appointed Linda O'Sullivan as marketing director. She will bring more than 16 years' experience in the sales and marketing arenas with a branding focus.

O'Sullivan comes from Rowland in Brisbane where she was director of marketing communication.
